Neutral Route

Spoiler warning. Neutral endings occur when you neither complete a True Pacifist run nor a Genocide run. Outcomes vary with who remains alive and how you treated major characters.

What “Neutral” means

You reach the end of the Underground, confront the king, and see credits. Which friends appear afterward — and what Flowey says — shifts with your kill count and specific character fates. There is not a single Neutral script; there is a family of them.

After the credits

Neutral is a valid first ending. The game often points toward unfinished business: friends to call, truths still underground, and a path toward a more complete peaceful resolution if you reload with new goals.
